This walk in and around Galle Fort lets you soak in the views of the Galle International Test cricket stadium, Galle's beautiful coastline, the colonial churches and buildings, some exotic restaurants near the beach and some great gem stores. This was the fort that prevented the 2004 tsunami from causing any destruction to the city of Galle.
